Travel
Insurance
It is recommended whilst travelling to have some form of travel
insurance. Travel insurance can prevent problems when canceling
a trip planned due to last minute illness or damaged / lost property
when travelling. As we have a very strict cancellation policy,
we recommend that every person travelling is covered by the appropriate
insurance. We are more than happy to supply a company letter verifying
the need for compensation to your insurance company.
What
is EMC (Environmental Management Charge)?
A government charge of AUD$5 per person, per day goes towards
research and the preservation of the Great Barrier Reef. This
charge is a total of AUD$15 for both trips, which is payable on
board the Taka vessel.
