Most professional fishing charters encourage a catch and release,
especially for larger fish of a particular species. There has been
a strong push in recent years in Australia and around the world
to encourage fishing enthusiasts to adopt conservation minded approach
to their sport. This is definitely prevalent in North Queensland
with most fishing charters encouraging people to keep one or two
fish and release the rest.
